When the Alexander's McQueen exhibition 'Savage Beauty' closed doors on August 7th 2011 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, broke visiting records with more than half a million (661,509 at last count).
With help of his foundation, the Costume Institute, Conde Nast, and more: they revived his legacy. The exhibition was divided into six parts: The Romantic Mind, Romantic Gothic and Cabinet of Curiosities, Romantic Nationalism, Romantic Exoticism, Romantic Primitivism, and Romantic Naturalism. "A campaign appealing to the curators of New York's runaway "Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty" exhibition to bring the show to British shores seemed closer to success yesterday after the design house revealed it was in talks with major venues in London." As for the Met and Costume Institute, reports say that for the next fashion exhibition in 2012 might involve Miuccia Prada and Elsa Schiaparelli. We'll have to wait for their word but for instance, wouldn't be interesting how they pair them up?

Cuando la exhibición de Alexander McQueen 'Belleza Salvaje' cerró sus puertas el 7 de Agosto del 2011 en el Museo Metropolitano de Nueva York, rompió récord de visitas con mas de medio millón (662,509 último conteo).

Con la ayuda de su fundación, el Costume Institute, Conde Nast y más: ellos revivieron su legado. La exhibición fue dividida en seis partes: La Mente Romántica, Gótico Romántico y Gabinete de Curiosidades, Nacionalismo Romántico, Exotismo Romántico, Primitivismo Romántico y Naturalismo Romántico. "Una campaña apelando a los curadores de Nueva York de la exposición "Alexander McQueen: belleza salvaje " de traer el espectáculo a las costas británicas parecía más cerca del éxito, ya que ayer la casa de de moda reveló que estaba en conversaciones con los principales lugares de Londres." Y en cuanto al Met y el Costume Institute, reportes dicen que para la siguiente exhibición del 2012, podría involubrar a Miuccia Prada y Elsa Schiaparelli. Tendremos que esperar para su palabra pero por lo tanto, ¿no sería interesante como las emparejan?
